What in the World Is SEO and 7 Tips To Help Grow Your Business

We hear this term - SEO - everywhere. It's thrown out there like it’s some sort of mystical, magical unicorn that only web wizards have access to.

Not true. Below are some tips for making sense of SEO so you can start implementing this yourself.

SEO stands for"Search Engine Optimization". 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗣𝘀).

There are many different techniques and strategies that can be used to improve SEO, such as optimizing your website's structure and content, building high-quality links, and using keywords strategically.

A high word count offers more information & clarity for your audience and lets Google know what your business is about. Speak directly to your ideal audience using keywords and CTAs (call to action).

2.𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘀: Create high-quality blogs that are relevant, informative, and helpful for your target audience. This includes your target keywords and a word count of at least 1,000.

3. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘀:Keep your blogs fresh and up-to-date to maintain your relevance and authority in search engines.

4. 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Identify the keywords and phrases that your target audience is using to search for information related to your website or business.

𝟱. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝘁𝗮𝗴𝘀: Use title tags, meta descriptions, and header tags to help search engines understand the content on your website.

𝟲. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀: Build links from other reputable websites that point to your website. This can increase your website's authority and help it rank higher in search results.

7. Use Headings in your text - H1s & H2s
